A distinguished authority in the field of data mining, Jesus Mena has dedicated the past 15 years to advancing the uses of this important technology. He has spoken at data mining and business intelligence conferences and seminars in the U.S., Canada and Europe, written numerous articles for key technology publications, and has authored four books on the subject.

Prior to joining InferX, Mena was senior consultant with the Department of Homeland Security-Office of Inspector General as the data mining consultant on the first department-wide audit of all analytical systems at DHS. Mena has provided consulting services to the Sandia National Laboratories, the National Counterterrorist Center (NCTC), and the General Accountability Office (GAO). Mena was the former senior data miner for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
